Story

Ransom Sanders, a planter and descendant of early 18th century settlers in what became Johnston County, and his second wife, Sarah Campbell had two daughters: Sarah Elizabeth Sanders Burwell School girl and Lauretta Winifred Sanders , both Burwell School students. Ransom Sanders was the son of Reuben Sanders, and the grandson of Hardy Sanders. Sarah Campbell was the daughter of James Campbell [1].
