Mariah (also seen as Maria) was apparently born in NC and her family moved to AL prior to her marriage in 1832. This researcher has not found information on her family; however, in the 1860 census of Greensboro, Greene County, AL, Henry Webb and wife Maria H Webb are enumerated with their children Ellen and James. In the dwelling next door is Eleanor Dickson, age 85, born in NC. Could this be Maria’s mother?
