There is confusion regarding this sibling. He is listed variously as James, Joseph James (though we think he had a brother Joseph Caldwell) and James D. Our Webb Kin of Dixie says he was unmarried. But the Ances-try Webb Family Tree (Baker) says he married Mary (last name unknown) and had four children: James S b 1872, Mollie b 1877, Shelly b 1880 and Fanny b 1884.
