According to research completed by Mary Claire Engstrom, Mary Belle, known as Belle, married a Mr. Dean. They had six children: Christine, Marable, Carlton, Dorothy, Gladys and David.

It is possible that Mary was actually the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Marable's second wife, Octavia Marable, not Mary Amelia Faison.
