Franklin Julian Faison

Story

Franklin Julian Faison was born in 1823 in Turkey, North Carolina. He married Susan Mary Bryan in 1847. They had five children in 15 years. Franklin was a Col. in the Confederate States Army and was killed June 27, 1862 at the Battle of Cold Harbor. He is buried in the Faison family cemetery in Turkey. Sampson County, NC, USA (grave site 9).
