Julia Frances Brown

Story

She married Lemuel George Lynch (1832-1882) on January 16, 1866 in Orange County, NC. They were the parents of 10 children. In the 1880 US Federal Census, his occupation is listed as a farmer. On April 3, 1882 he died of typhoid pneumonia at the age of 50. Julia was widowed for more than 40 years. In the 1900 US Federal Census, she is listed as the head of the household. In the US Federal Censuses of 1910 and 1920, she is living with her son George Calvin Lynch (1876-1935) who is listed as the head of the household.
