The Rev. Wall was a distinguished Presbyterian minister, starting his career in Virginia, then New Bern, NC, Englewood, NJ and finally Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, where he reportedly established the ambulance service; he ended his tenure there as the hospital's chaplain.

In 1880 the Walls lived at 41 E. 70th St (near Madison Ave.) NYC.

Story

In 1832, Thomas Wall emigrated to the United States with his family from Nova Scotia, Canada.

Rev. Wall died at Presbyterian Hospital, New York City, and is buried in section 27, lot 8907 of Green-Wood Cemetery.
