George Barry Wall

George Wall as an adult was apparently called “Barry” (his middle name).

He was shot by his wife, Broadway burlesque actress Lizzie McCall , on February 26, 1882, during an argument. The bullet lodged in his spine, and he died a few days later after stating that the shooting was deliberate. However, the event was ruled an accident and his wife was not charged. He was about 27 years old at his death [1].
