Princeton University

Princeton University began in 1746 as the College of New Jersey, which located in Princeton in 1756. It was the site of Princeton Theological Seminary, the primary training ground for Presbyterian ministers in the nineteenth century. Hillsborough minister John Knox Witherspoon, [Jr.] was a scholar there.
