Hope Hunter

Hope Hunter was the daughter of Jane and William Hunter. However, she became the surrogate daughter of her maternal aunt, Emily Bell Norman, who had no children. Hope began living with her Aunt Emily at two-years-old and grew to become the daughter of the house in the Norman household in Plymouth, NC.

• Maternal grandparents: James W. Bell and Mary Eliza Walker.
