Anna Maria Pearce

Anna Maria Pearce (1797-1879) was the older sister of John Wesley Pearce. When Mary Huske Pearce’s mother died in 1844, her aunt came into the household to care for the children and remained in the household after her brother remarried and his second wife also died. Anna Maria Pearce was born in New York and moved to Cumberland County NC with her parents Nathan and Rebecca Pearce in 1805. She is buried in Cross Creek Cemetery #1.
