Story
Ann Eliza's education was varied during her youth. (1851-1854), and finally Madame Chegaray's School for Young Ladies in New York. Three years after her father's resignation from congress and return to Wilmington, Ann Eliza married Dr. James Arrington Miller on 6 January 1857. Although she had four children, she and her husband left no direct descendants. According to her brother's daughter, Ann Eliza died before Samuel A'Court Ashe ever married [1].
