William Attmore

An ancestor of Sally Attmore was the well-known Philadelphia merchant William Attmore who wrote the Journal of Two Tours of North Carolina in 1787.

Story

During one of his visits to North Carolina, William Attmore met Miss Sallie Sitgreaves, the captivating daughter of Judge John Sitgreaves. They married on 18 March 1790.
