Ira married Frances Trotter Barnette, who was born 18 Jul 1867 in Woodsdale, Person County, NC. She died in 1931 and is also buried at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church cemetery in Roxboro.

The son of Ira and Frances – Stephen Willis Glenn – was born 3 July 1905 and died 17 Feb 1983. Stephen married Irma Louise Bigger Glenn. Irma was born 15 Jan 1917 in Virginia. She died 19 April 2004 in Greensboro, Guilford County, NC. Stephen are Irma are both buried in the Oak Grove Methodist Church cemetery in Roxboro.
