John Gillespie McDugald

(1823-1857)

Story

Col. John Gillespie McDugald was an attorney from Bladen County, NC when he married Mary Amelia Faison December 28, 1853. They had two sons: Charles Stuart and John Gillespie, Jr. Neither of the two sons survived childhood. Col.McDugald died October 6, 1857 and is buried in the Faison Family Cemetery. (grave site 52).
